In 2005 the GCE Group acquired an aviation product line as a part of a larger medical acquisition. However it had no commercial aviation experience and engaged with Phoenix Aerospace to develop their existing product portfolio and market.
This was a long-term “start-to-finish” engagement in which the entirety of Phoenix Aerospace’s portfolio of services was utilized. It included strategic business planning & execution, market validation/voice of customer, development of the complete marketing package and sales tool kit including total value to cost guide (economic benefits analysis), standard proposals and templates. Subsequently followed by extensive sales execution with OEM, airlines, and distributors and a strategic partner search.
Based on the successful innovative product line roll-out and success with Airbus, B/E Aerospace Life Support Systems purchased the entire product line in 2011 yielding GCE’s parent company a significant ROI.
